About Dr. Coop

I am an English professor at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, AZ. SMCC is the smallest of 10 colleges in the Maricopa Community College system. I teach hybrid composition courses, traditional face-to-face courses and one online ENG102 course at SMCC.

I just recently finished my doctorate in Instructional Technology & Distance Education at Nova Southeastern University. I did a study on the hybrid courses for my dissertation. I am currently working on two projects:

• Podcasting in Education
• Freshman Composition Blackboard shell course for SMC faculty

I use this wiki to keep track of all of my many projects and experiments with technology. Wikis are great tools for that.
